Relaxation area SPA

SPA etiquette

Spa is a place of peace and for relaxation of body and soul. To ensure a calming atmosphere, we would kindly ask all our Spa centre visitors to keep the noise to a minimum. Use your time in the Spa to relax completely. Please switch off your mobile phone and avoid alcohol and cigarettes before and directly after your spa treatment. Smoking is not permitted in any part of the Spa centre.

Prepare yourself…

Drink: If you have booked a massage or any other full body treatment or if you have planned to visit any of the saunas, please drink plenty of water or natural fruit juice. A balanced water intake will allow your body to benefit from the detoxifying effects of our treatments.

Food

Do not start your treatment if you are hungry or if you have just eaten. Avoid heavy meals at least one hour before treatment starts. We are pleased to serve you after your Spa experience a selection of teas and  Wellness Spa tonics.

Clothing

Feel comfortable! We particularly recommend easy-care fabrics due to the oils and care products used. Bath robes, slippers and towels are available in the Spa but you are welcome to wear the bathrobe provided in your room.

Make-up and perfumes

We recommend you to start your treatment without any make-up. We kindly ask our male guests to shave before a facial treatment and do so at least two hours prior to your scheduled appointment to avoid any irritation. As the emphasis is on relaxation, we try to avoid any complications for guests with allergies beforehand, so it’s best not to wear any perfume to a treatment. You are welcome to wear a swimsuit or trunks in this area.

Medical conditions

If you have any type of medical condition, it is best to mention it when you book your appointment. Certain treatments may not be advisable for you. Also, tell the therapist if you are wearing contact lenses before a facial.

Sharing the spa

Always take a shower before entering a swimming pool or any of the heat and water facilities. While enjoying the sauna, it is proper etiquette to sit on your towel or disposable paper towels provided by the Spa receptionists.

Before the treatment…

We ask that you always allow enough time for your experience and arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your appointment. When you have booked a full body treatment, it is recommended to wash, bath and take a sauna to smooth your skin beforehand. All aspects of treatment can be modified to your taste: amount of light, music volume, room temperature. If you would like the pressure of your massage to be adjusted, let your therapist know. Also, feel free to ask questions. If any part of your experience is unsatisfactory, let the therapist immediately know.

After the treatment…

Don’t rush… Enjoy our  SPA leisure area facilities and relax a little longer. We are happy to serve you a glass of refreshing water or green tea and fruits while you enjoy the peace and tranquility of our relaxation room.

Caution

You should generally avoid the sun after your treatment. If you booked a body peeling or oil massage, you should wait at least 12 hours before your next sunbathing session.

To extend your spa experience: our Spa offers a  wide range of products to help you to enjoy hours of relaxation at home, too. Our spa therapists will be pleased to advise you…
